§ 1.24.010. Procedure established.

Whenever the people by an initiative petition or the City Council, on its own motion, proposes an ordinance, order, resolution, Charter amendment, an amendment to an initiative ordinance, a proposition for incurring bonded indebtedness, or an advisory measure for approval or disapproval of the voters at an election, the procedure set forth in this Chapter shall be employed to inform the voters concerning the same. The procedure set forth in this Chapter shall also apply to propositions placing an ordinance on the ballot as a result of a referendum petition.
