§ 18.64.010. Permit—Required.

A.

No person, firm or corporation shall engage in sandblasting the outside of any building or structure in the City without first obtaining a permit to do so from the Building Official.

B.

The permit is required for the purpose of placing the City on notice regarding intended sandblasting operations, thus making possible the inspection of sandblasting operations in the City so that sandblasting regulations enacted for the protection of the health and property of members of the public may effectively be enforced.
