§ 1408. REVOLVING FUND.

For the use and benefit of the Water Department or for the use and benefit of that division or branch of the City's service charged with the duty of collecting monies due and payable to the Water Department, the Commission may, by resolution, create and establish a revolving fund, the monies of which shall not be subject to transfer at the close of the fiscal year; and any resolution creating and establishing such a fund shall provide that the City Treasurer shall transfer to such revolving fund from the "Water Revenue Fund", not to exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00); and such revolving fund shall be used for the purpose of making change in connection with collections of the Water Department and for such other purposes as the Commission may prescribe by such resolution.
